Peter Gonzalez

Peter Gonzalez began his career as a systems engineer in 1999 before spending the next two decades in business development across the tech and medical markets. In 2000, he founded Medtech Advantage, a local IT-managed services company supporting the medical technology industry in support, security, and HIPAA compliance. In the summer of 2018, he formed a business partnership with Dr. Tracy Provenghi, and the rest, as the saying goes, is history.

In a short period, the two expanded Awesome Smiles, their parent dental practice, from a five-chair, 1,800-square-foot office into a 13-chair, 5,700-square-foot, two-story practice. In 2019, they collaborated on the design and business plan for SkinSational MedSpa, opening its doors on July 27, 2020. The practice continues to grow and holds Diamond Level status among the nation's top 500 medspas, with further expansion planned in the years ahead.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (2003), a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems (2006), a Master of Business Administration (2018), and a Master of Healthcare Administration (2018). Outside the practice, his interests include writing and composing music, weightlifting, and traveling.

Cassandra Licon, RN, BSN

Cassandra Licon, RN, BSN, has been a registered nurse since 2016, bringing a diverse clinical background in emergency trauma, intensive care, cardiac care, and medical aesthetics. Her years of experience caring for patients in high-acuity settings shaped her commitment to patient safety, clinical precision, and compassionate, individualized care.

For the past six years, Cassandra has specialized in aesthetic injections, where she found her true passion: helping patients feel confident while preserving a natural, balanced appearance. She received foundational training through the Allergan Institute and continues to advance her knowledge through ongoing education and hands-on training in aesthetic medicine.

Cassandra has completed multiple advanced cadaver anatomy trainings, strengthening her understanding of facial anatomy and injection safety. Her advanced training includes dermal filler and neuromodulator techniques, plasma treatments, and PDO thread procedures, and she is certified in each, with an ongoing commitment to staying current with evolving techniques, products, and best practices.

Lauren Casillas, RN

Lauren Casillas is a registered nurse with a background in the emergency department, inpatient psychiatric care, and aesthetic medicine. She brings a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and patient-centered care to the aesthetics side of medicine. As a nurse injector, she specializes in subtle, thoughtfully placed enhancements designed to complement each patient's unique anatomy, guided by safety, education, artistry, and knowing when less is more. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling confident, cared for, and like the most authentic version of themselves.
